Flint can now run in llama.cpp and Unsloth Desktop!
Run Flint locally on 24GB RAM via Unsloth Dynamic GGUFs! Flint is the strongest MoE model under 50B parameters.
Recursive’s Apache-2.0 model has 39.8B parameters (2.5B active). Run at 125 t/s on Mac, 150 on RTX Spark
Guide: https://unsloth.ai/docs/models/flint
See an example of it running in unsloth:
It just thinks and thinks and thinks lol. Not really usefull
It just thinks and thinks and thinks lol. Not really usefull
This is how not very smart models work novadays.
If you take mediocre model -> make it loop in thinking -> it can produce something usefull at the end. Caveat here is that it can use more time than big slow model will use for the same task.
So you see high t/s and it feels fast. But it uses x2 time compared to bigger smarter model that runs at less t/s.
But for simple tasks it still have a usecase, you just need to understand it limitations.
