Hello Meta Llama team,

My request to access meta-llama/Llama-3.1-8B-Instruct was rejected. Could you please review my request or let me know whether I need to correct or provide any additional information?

I am a student working on a course assignment to reproduce the experiments of AgentWatcher, a research project studying defenses against indirect prompt injection in LLM agents.

The implementation uses Llama-3.1-8B-Instruct as an attribution model to analyze which parts of the input context influence the model's response. I would like to use the same model as the implementation to keep my experimental setup consistent.

My intended use is non-commercial academic evaluation on a university computing cluster. I plan to run inference and evaluate the defense, rather than train or redistribute the model. I will comply with the Llama 3.1 Community License Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy.
